Day trip to the Similan Islands

Important note: the trip takes place between November 17 and May 15 only.

Pick up and return hours to the hotel

Pickup and return hours from Phuket:
Pick up between 6:00-6:30 and return between 18:00-18:30, travel time: about 2 hours.
Pickup and return hours to the Macau Lac hotel:
Pick up between 7:00-7:30 and return between 17:00-17:30 Travel time: about 45 minutes.

Recommendations

Track schedule

* Families with small children under the age of 3 – it is recommended to sail in a speed catamaran due to the fluctuations of the waves.
* The trip is not recommended for pregnant women, those suffering from heart and/or back problems. 06:00-06:30 – Pick up from the hotel and drive towards Khao Lak.
08:30 – Arrival at the private pier, where you will receive instruction and snorkeling equipment, pastries and light drinks will be served during the instruction.
09:00 – Departure for a cruise to the Similan Islands.
10:50 – Arrival at the Similan Islands and the first snorkeling site on islands number 5 and 6.
11:40 a.m. Arrival at island number 4, free time in Princes Bay.
12:00 – Lunch on island number 4.
13:00 – We leave for island number 9 and the snorkeling sites “Christmas Point” / “Namchai Bay”.
14:15 – Visit to “Sailing Rock” – the symbol of the Similan Islands located on island number 8, free time for swimming, photos and climbing to the observation point.
15:30 – Sail back to the pier in Khao Lak.
16:50 – Arrival at the pier, snacks, soft drinks, fruit and ice cream will be served there. From here the shuttle will depart back to your hotel.
